How to Get Twitch Affiliate: The 4 Requirements
Twitch Affiliate is the first tier where a streamer can earn: subscriptions, Bits and ad revenue. Twitch invites you once you meet four requirements within the last 30 days.
The four requirements
- At least 50 followers.
- At least 500 total minutes broadcast, a little over 8 hours.
- Streams on at least 7 unique days.
- An average of 3 or more concurrent viewers.
Twitch tracks progress in your Creator Dashboard under Achievements. Check there; third-party guides sometimes quote old numbers.
Hitting each one
- Minutes and days: stream on a fixed schedule, for example three-hour streams four days a week. You clear both in two weeks.
- Followers: ask once per stream, mean it, and share clips on TikTok, Shorts and Reels with your channel name.
- Average viewers: the hard one. Stream at hours when your game is less crowded, and invite friends who will actually watch.
What Affiliate unlocks
- Subscriptions and emotes.
- Bits, Twitch's tipping currency.
- A share of ad revenue.
On buying viewers and followers
Panels sell Twitch followers and live viewers, and this one lists both on the Twitch panel page. Twitch bans artificial viewers and follows, and it removes them; viewbotting is a common reason for enforcement. Using them to reach Affiliate risks the channel you are trying to grow.
